Hackers exploited D-Link routers to steal personal data

Radware researchers found that the attackers used the vulnerability of some D-Link routers to modify remotely DNS server settings. Malicious DNS server IPs used in the exploit were 69.162.89.185. and 198.50.222.136. Banco de Brasil and Unibanco сustomers were redirected to the fake malicious website that requested his personal data. Experts say that these attacks are very unique because they don’t require any user interaction: the hijacking works without crafting or changing URLs in the user’s browser, attackers don’t send phishing emails and no changes are required on the computer.

Microsoft announced Known Folder Move (KFM) for OneDrive

User content is automatically synced to OneDrive with no disruption to productivity. Behind the scenes, KFM moves content into OneDrive so it’s always synced to the cloud, protected, and accessible from all user’s devices. IT admin can deploy a group policy to users in your organization to encourage them to perform KFM. More details here.

Eligible end users can get to the KFM experience if they click on one of the KFM toast notifications or in OneDrive settings > AutoSave > Update folders.

System Insights

System Insights is a new feature available in Windows Server 2019 that brings local predictive analytics capabilities natively to Windows Server. These predictive capabilities—each backed by a machine-learning model—locally analyze Windows Server system data, such as performance counters and events, providing insight into the functioning of your deployments and helping you reduce the operational expenses associated with monitoring your Windows Server instances.

A full list of new features is available on the company’s official blog page.
