The virus affected computers and factories systems, which used Windows 7 without current security updates. The malware quickly spread to more than 10,000 machines, including the main facilities in Tainan, Hsinchu and Taichung. About 80% of the company’s impacted tools have been recovered on Sunday, and the factories completely restored production on Monday.
